Of note is the first rate quality of the plate; it is very suitable for daily usage and even though it is unglazed (raw) on the bottom side, it is completely water resistant and thus suitable for your bathroom. Naturally, the unglazed surface is slightly rough to the touch but, having been polished, it will not damage your furniture.
